This retro kitchen remodel was designed by Louise from our Manchester showroom. This was a fun project – our customer, a 1950’s enthusiast, wanted to design the kitchen with retro appliances and accessories including the kitchen table and chairs. She was inspired with the retro metal butterflies that adorn the kitchen beam in the photos, she found these at a consignment shop, and these butterflies inspired her kitchen remodel project and gave her a focal point in design journey. Donna took a year (or longer) of searching for just the right lighting fixtures and appliances & accessories by shopping on various consignment shops and online before finding a Canadian appliance manufacturer to capture the essence of the 1950’s. This kitchen also features appliance fronts to match the cabinets for the dishwasher.
