Norfolk Donates Vanities to Local Pastoral Family
At Norfolk Kitchen & Bath, we love being part of projects that make a real difference in people’s lives. Over the summer, we had the chance to lend a hand in a truly special way.
Diane, one of our amazing team members, was approached by Liberty Hill Construction about a home renovation project with Building on Community. Their goal was to create a warm, welcoming space for a young family moving to Manchester, NH, where they will serve as the pastoral family for a local church.
We were more than happy to pitch in, donating two vanities and countertops to help make their house feel like home. In addition to Liberty Hill Construction and Turn Cycle Solutions, over 100 local companies generously donated time and materials to this project, further demonstrating the power of community collaboration.
The big reveal took place on June 1, 2024, and it was a moment filled with joy and gratitude. But what’s even more special is what has happened since then.
Diane recently received a heartfelt thank-you note from the family, accompanied by a touching photo. The message highlighted how their new home has allowed them to build strong community ties. Since moving in, they have hosted meals and events, welcomed visitors of all ages—from babies to seniors—and connected with people from diverse backgrounds, including immigrants and even friends from as far away as Singapore.
Stories like this remind us why we do what we do. It’s not just about designing beautiful spaces—it’s about creating homes that bring people together. We are grateful for the opportunity to contribute and look forward to continuing to support our community in meaningful ways.
