My Background: I started my design career with Lowe’s in 2005 in the Kitchen Cabinet Department. From Lowe’s I went to work for a private family owned design showroom in 2013 where I was able to expand my knowledge to encompass full kitchen and bath remodels and designed with that company for 12 years. In 2025 I was afforded the opportunity to come and design with the team here at Norfolk Kitchen and Bath.
What I Love About Designing: The opportunity to build a relationship with the clients and their families. I am able to learn about there lifestyle & goals for their home. In building that rapport I can take an unloved space and restore it back to a cherished heart of the home. Every project is unique and presents its own blend of challenges. That versatility is very rewarding when I successfully design a space truly reflective of the clients style & personality.
Remodeling Advice For Homeowners: Keep an open line of communication. There is no such thing as an unnecessary question. If you have it please ask it. You are entrusting me with your home and dreams for it and I want to make sure that you are comfortable talking through ideas on the wants and needs of your space. In keeping the dialogue flowing I am able to make sure the form and function of the design match or exceed your final vision.
Fun Fact: I love country line dancing and try to go whenever I am not working on renovations in my own 1934 home.
