Norfolk Kitchen & Bath To Donate $100 For Each Kitchen Sold To The Greater Boston Food Bank

During the last few months, because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the demand for food has risen over 50% compared to this time last year. The Greater Boston Food Bank has distributed nearly 27.5 million pounds of food in the Eastern Massachusetts area in the last 3 months and needs help to continue to provide this unprecedented level of support. Norfolk Kitchen & Bath is always looking for more opportunities to give back to their community and has donated to many community organizations over the years,  including, Pine Street Inn, Best Buddies, Metro Housing Boston, Habitat For Humanity & More. To help GBFB keep up with the food demand, Norfolk has pledged to donate $100 from every kitchen over $10,000 sold between June 1, 2020 – December 31, 2020.

About The Greater Boston Food Bank

The leading hunger-relief agency in New England, GBFB is dedicated to providing up to 3 meals a day for neighbors in need. Over 90% of funds go directly towards hunger-relief efforts. Last year, over 68.5 million pounds of food was distributed to 190 different cities and towns in the Eastern Massachusetts area. With the help of their community supporters, GBFB hopes to end hunger in the Eastern Massachusetts area for good.

Norfolk’s Commitment To Help COVID-19 Relief Efforts

The demand for food has skyrocketed since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic in March 2020. Norfolk recognizes that supporting the community is more important now than ever before. As a result, Norfolk Kitchen & Bath pledges $100 for every kitchen $10,000 or more sold in the remainder of 2020. Norfolk Kitchen & Bath sells hundreds, if not thousands of kitchens every year, and hopes to maximize their donation through the addition of social-distancing appointment options and a 10-point safety check to keep all showrooms safe for customers and employees alike.
